Sifuna Leads Linda Mwananchi Team to Wamunyoro Residence

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, led a delegation of Linda Mwananchi movement leaders to the Wamunyoro residence of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in Nyeri County.

The delegation was received by Gachagua and his wife, Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, in a meeting that brought together leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement and Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).

Other leaders reported to have accompanied Sifuna included Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Bumula MP Jack Wamboka and political commentator Pauline Njoroge.

Welcoming the delegation, Gachagua referred to the visitors as his “cousins from Linda Mwananchi” and expressed optimism about cooperation among the leaders.

“When we come together great things must happen,” Gachagua stated in a social media post accompanying photographs of the meeting.

The visit comes amid ongoing political consultations and realignments ahead of Kenya’s 2027 General Election. However, no formal political agreement was announced in the reports of the meeting.
