Didas Mzirai Declare Interest to Contest as Taveta MP, 2022.
Didas Mzirai who is also the CEO of Mucho Mango has declare interest in contesting for August poll as member of parliament, Taveta.
The 2021 presidential award winner has expressed interest to contest for the sit. He is yet to declare which party ticket he will use. Based on his career and life, he is considered among the brilliant minds in Taveta especially among the youth.
He served as local Youth Leader in Taveta and Taita Taveta County, served as a National Youth Leader and President of the National Youth Bunge Association, to Empowering and Supporting Rural Small Scale and vulnerable farmers through his Social Enterprise; Mucho Mangoes.
During 2021 Mashujaa day, his Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Heroes Council, recognized and honored him as a National Hero/Shujaa, and was conferred a Golden Medal of Honor.
Taveta parliamentary seat has attracted youth for a long time including Wakili Bwire , Mutiso and Mike Banton who previously expressed his interest.
It’s however unclear if Dr. Naomi Shaban will defend the sit or will call it an exit. Her remaining in politics will determine political arithmetic’s in Taveta.
Didas will battle with the current Mp. Dr. Naomi Shaban, Wakili Bwire and Mutiso who have been hitting the ground for a long time to prepare for vote hunt.
