IEBC to Resume Continuous Voter Registration on September 29, 2025

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has confirmed that Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will resume on Monday, September 29, 2025. The announcement was made in line with the commission’s constitutional mandate under Article 88(4) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

According to the IEBC, the exercise will primarily target individuals who have recently turned 18, as well as citizens who were previously not registered. Voters who need to update their information will also be required to participate in the registration exercise.
