Kalonzo Addresses Calls to Join Ruto Govt

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has declared he will not abandon the opposition, defying persistent pressure to align with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

For months, Kalonzo has faced recurrent attempts by supporters of President William Ruto to persuade him to join government ranks.


In a statement he shared on Saturday, July 19, the veteran politician reiterated his unwavering commitment to holding the government accountable. Kalonzo, who has consistently criticized the Ruto-led administration over unfulfilled promises, affirmed he would remain firm in advocating for peace and defending the rights of Kenyans.

“I will never join this rogue and criminal regime, and I refuse to participate in any type of dialogue with a regime that has our children’s blood on its hands,” Kalonzo said.
