Man Arrested With Suspected Heroin Worth Ksh500K, Ksh1.8M Cash
Police in Mombasa apprehended a suspected drug dealer in the Kisauni area on Saturday, April 13.
In a statement, NPS revealed that the arrest followed a joint intelligence-led operation conducted on Friday night, April 12 night by DCI Anti Narcotics teams and their Coast Region counterparts, at the home of the suspect in Magongo, Kisauni Sub-county.
The narcotics, believed to be heroin weighing 169.18 grams with an estimated market price of Ksh507,540 were seized.
Also recovered was cash of Ksh1,327,300 and USD 3,610 (Ksh469,300), amounting to a total of Ksh1,796,600. Four mobile phones were recovered as well.
