Ex-CS and Jubilee Party Nyandarua gubernatorial aspirant Sicily Kariuki steps down from race in support of incumbent governor Francis Kimemia

Former Water CS Sicily Kariuki Has stepped down in Nyandarua Gubernatorial race in favour of incumbent Francis Kimemia.

Kariuki stated that she withdrew from the race after a lot of soul searching and numerous consultations with high-profile leaders and residents of Nyandarua.

“It’s been a lot of soul searching, consultation after another and I finally decided to sacrifice. Leadership is about sacrifice, you cannot lead people without sacrificing and dropping my bid does not in any way mean I have no power, I will take another action and will serve Nyandarua people at another level,” she said.
