Governor Wanga Urges Kalonzo to Join Broad-Based Government
Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga has appealed to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to reconsider his political position and work with President William Ruto’s administration.
Speaking out on the ongoing political differences, Wanga urged Kalonzo to distance himself from young politicians whom she accused of disrespecting him through public criticism and telling him when to speak or remain silent.
She cited remarks allegedly directed at Kalonzo, including calls for him to follow Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, arguing that the Wiper leader deserves respect because of his political experience and longstanding relationship with other leaders.
Wanga further appealed to Kalonzo to return to the government side, saying they had worked together for many years and should reunite to advance their shared political interests.
