President William Ruto touches down at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, USA
President William Ruto has arrived in the United States of America, commencing his State Visit in Atlanta, Georgia. He was received in a tight security under Secret Service, marking a fully Presidential welcome. President Ruto’s visit will span five days, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and attracting investments.
The President who is on a three-day state visit of the US arrived in Atlanta, Georgia at around 10am US time.
Ruto who is accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto then left for the Carter Center and arrived at around 2pm US time as his motorcade followed him closely.
The President was warmly received at the centre accompanied by his Kenyan entourage and US government officials.
He took pictures at the lawn before he was ushered into the Carter Presidential Center.
Ruto was then received by one of Jimmy Carter’s grandson’s before they had a small chit chat.
