Former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi Sworn In as KRA Chairperson
Former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi and close friend to former president Uhuru has been sworn in as the Chairperson of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Muriithi was sworn-in in a ceremony presided over by the Registrar in the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Hon Esther Nyaiyaki at the Supreme Court on Monday, December 30.
Speaking during the ceremony, Muriithi pledged to spearhead a transformative agenda aimed at elevating the tax authority into a professional, fair, and service-driven institution.
He outlined his vision to institutionalize a culture of excellence and collaboration across all KRA touchpoints.
“My vision is to steer KRA to become a professional, fair, yet firm organization guided by the core values of being Trustworthy, Ethical, Competent, Helpful, Innovative, and Simple.
