Raila Unveils Seven MPs to Meet Ruto Team
Raila Odinga has finally picked a team of seven minds to steer ahead his talks with President William Ruto.
The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition has heeded to the parliamentary process in the bi-partisan approach to reconstitute the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The seven, according to the opposition leader, will help him in engaging government side in what has been highly regarded as bipartisan negotiations.
Among those who will represent Azimio Coalition in the committee that will draw lawmakers from the two opposing political side include; Ledama Ole Kina (Narok), Edwin Sifuna (Nairobi), Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), Enock Wambua (Kitui), Amina Mnyazi (Malindi), David Pkosing (Pokot South) and Otiende Amollo (Rarieda).
The PG meeting was convened after President William Ruto on Sunday, April 2 extended an olive branch to the opposition coalition, proposing a bipartisan approach to tackle their grievances.
In turn, Raila called off the Mondays and Thursday anti-government protests across the country to give dialogue a chance.
