6 TaitaTaveta County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) Swear To Office

Governor Andrew Mwadime has today graced the swearing in of 6 County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) approved recently by the County Assembly.

Speaking during the event presided over by the Voi High Court Chief Magistrate Hon. Ada Mildred Obura, Governor Mwadime told the CECMs that its their moral duty to uphold values of integrity, accountability, transparency, and sacrifice as they begin serving Taita Taveta County residents.

Gifton Mkaya was sworn in as the CECM Health Services, Grantone Mwandawiro – Water, Sanitation, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Shedrack Mutungi – Youth, Sports, Gender, Culture and Social Services, Gloria Wawuda – Education, Libraries, VTCs and ICT, Danson Katuu – Finance and Planning, Elizabeth Mkongo – Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, Mining and Energy and John Mwakio Mwang’ombe – County Attorney.

Governor Mwadime also appointed his Deputy Governor Christine Kilalo to head Public Service Devolution and Administration,in an acting capacity, Grantone Mwandawiro – Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation, Danson Katuu – Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport and Gloria Wawuda – Trade, Tourism, Cooperatives Development and Industrialisation
