High Court Orders Car Dealer to Refund Buyer Ksh3.4 Million Over Undelivered Audi Q7
The High Court has ordered Kai & Karo Limited and its director, Joseph Kairu, to pay a car buyer Ksh3.4 million after the dealership failed to deliver an Audi Q7 as agreed.
The buyer had paid a total of Ksh3.9 million towards the purchase, consisting of a Ksh2.2 million deposit and an additional Ksh1.7 million raised through the sale of a Subaru Outback.
However, the dealership reportedly failed to deliver the agreed vehicle despite receiving the payment.
Although Kai & Karo Limited refunded Ksh500,000, the remaining Ksh3.4 million was not returned, leading the buyer to seek legal intervention.
In its ruling, the court directed the dealership and its director to refund the outstanding amount, bringing the dispute over the failed vehicle transaction to a legal conclusion.
