Police Inspector Charged With Murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso
A police inspector has been charged with the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso, who was fatally shot in Nairobi’s Upper Hill area on July 29, 2026.
Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang appeared in court to face murder charges under Sections 203 and 204 of the Penal Code.
According to court documents, Sang, alongside other suspects who are yet to be arraigned, allegedly killed Dr Mutiso at approximately 9:30 a.m. along Mawensi Road in Kilimani Sub-County, Nairobi.
The case now places the police inspector at the centre of investigations into the fatal shooting as the court process gets underway.
