Kakamega county Boss, Governor Wyclife Oparanya responds to claims that he is ditching Azimio to Ruto camp.
Claims by ODM blogger that the ODM deputy party leader was looking into joining the new political outfit by Deputy President William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya).
The Kakamega Governor has been missing from recent rallies organized by the Raila campaign team in Western with the recent one held in Vihiga County.
“I urge Azimio supporters to ignore propaganda being spread my detractors who are uncomfortable with Azimio wave sweeping the country and my firm stands behind Baba’s bid for the presidency,” the governor stated.
He tweeted “If Kenya Kwanza Alliance is the only option for me, I will rather resign from politics and go home to be a farmer than joining them”
Oparanya maintains that he has been involved in meeting with Azimio campaign team strategizing on how to make Raila win in August poll.
