Scary Scenes Of Mai Mahiu Flood Trajedy. Death Toll Risen To Over 40

So far over 40 Kenyans majority being women, children and the elderly have died in traject splash flood at Mai Mahiu. Search and rescue continues in Mai Mahiu.

-40+ bodies retrieved so far.
-Vehicles trapped in the mud.
-Efforts underway to retrieve more bodies trapped in the mud.
-100+ victims hospitalized in nearby hospitals.
-Dp Gachagua among other leaders who arrived at the scene.
-The ministry of Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has directed the county Security and intelligence committee (CSIC ) across the country to immediately deploy enforcement teams to coordinate with all it’s relevant agencies and partners to prevent further loss of lives and property and support all those who have been affected by ongoing floods brought by heavy rains.
