Diana scored 401nmarks in kCPE and had opt to repeat class 8 after being knocked out of country scholarship program. Her parents struggled to raise school fees as schools open for first term The girl was to join Moi Girls school in Eldoret.

Lamu governor Fahim Twaha came to her rescue and pay for her school fees for the whole year after citizen tv aired the news on agony of parents.

She was on the verge of losing out a chance to join form one over lack of school fees.

Diana is an example of what many students go through after hard work in school. The village she comes from, relatives, churches, chief, and other elected leaders within the area could to come for her rescue and took citizen tv story for her to get help.
