Kindiki makes impromptu visit to Nyayo house to assess passport processing progress

The Interior ministry has reiterated its commitment to clear the historical backlog in the processing of passports.

The CS said the ongoing Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) on delivery of uncollected passports and clearing of the historical backlog is yielding the desired results.

He said the ministry will maintain the momentum on operational reforms at the Immigration Department.

The CS added that he will ensure optimal results are achieved in the application, processing, and collection of passports and other citizenship documents.
