AFCON KICKS OFF AS HOST IVORY COAST FACE GUINEA BISSAU
The world for one month will be in the Ivory Coast as Africa begins the 34th African Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition,
Two-time winners of the tournament face off with Guinea Bissau at ‘Olympic Stadium of Ebimpé’ a to start the campaign for the third time, the last time was in 2015 when they defeated Ghana.
Group A includes teams from Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Guinea Bissau and Equatorial Guinea.
Group B: Egypt, Ghana, Cape Verde, Mozambique.
Group C: Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea, Gambia.
Group D: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, Angola.
Group E: Tunisia, Mali, South Africa, Namibia.
Group F: Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia, Tanzania.
