Standard Group Faces Auction in Ksh4.1 Million Defamation Case Awarded To ex-MP
The Standard Media Group is facing an auction for failing to pay former Taita Taveta MP Sh4.1 million awarded to him by the court.
Notably, the Ksh4.1 million in question is damages awarded to the businessman after he won a defamation case against the media company which has since defaulted on.
In addition to Sh500,000 for suit costs, the court granted to ex-MP Sh3.6 million in compensation.
