Malkia Strikers Legend Janet Wanja Dies after Cancer Battle
Kenyan volleyball legend Janet Wanja has tragically passed away after battling gallbladder cancer.
She fell ill in August shortly after returning from the Paris Olympics, where she served as the Malkia Strikers’ fitness trainer.
Wanja’s death was confirmed on the evening of Thursday, December 26, by her family, who released a statement saying she had lost the battle with the disease.
