Eng. Hersi Said Re-Elected Unopposed as Yanga SC President Until 2030
Eng. Hersi Said has been re-elected unopposed as the President of Young Africans SC (Yanga), earning another four-year term to continue leading the Tanzanian football giants.
His new mandate will run from 2026 to 2030, extending his leadership at a time when Yanga continues to enjoy success both domestically and on the continental stage.
Since taking over the club’s leadership, Eng. Hersi has overseen a period of remarkable growth, with Yanga winning multiple domestic titles and strengthening its reputation as one of Africa’s top football clubs. His administration has also focused on improving the club’s financial stability, infrastructure, commercial partnerships and competitiveness in CAF competitions.
His unopposed re-election reflects the confidence and trust that club members have placed in his leadership and vision for the future.
