Panuel Mkungo from Taita Taveta County clinche top honours at the 2023 Istanbul Marathon.
He clocked 2:10:35 to win the race ahead of Bernard Cheruiyot and James Kiplagat who finished second and third in respective times of 2:12:41 and 2:12:44.
Beatrice Cheptoo emerged victorious in the women’s category with 2:27:09 followed by Veronicah Maina (2:27:24) and Valentina Mateiko (2:32:15)
