IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati To Summon Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria Over Rigging Claims
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati says they will summon Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria over his vote-rigging claims made during UDA’s National Delegates Convention.
Speaking during the swearing-in of new IEBC CEO Marjan Hussein on Wednesday, March 16, IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati announced that the commission was fully aware of the remarks made by Kuria.
“We are aware of what he said but people always have their versions of what they said. So our investigation team is probing before we summon him,” Chebukati stated.
During the UDA’s National Delegates Convention,the Gatundu South MP claimed that he and other political leaders, now allied to Deputy President William Ruto, helped Uhuru to “steal votes” during elections.
