Besiktas Agree Deal to Sign Leandro Trossard from Arsenal

Turkish giants Besiktas have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Belgian winger Leandro Trossard in a deal worth up to €20 million.

The agreement includes an €18 million fixed transfer fee, with an additional €2 million in performance-related add-ons.

Trossard has also agreed to the move after accepting Besiktas’ contract offer, clearing the way for the transfer to be completed.

The Turkish club has reportedly been pursuing the 30-year-old for the past year and has now succeeded in securing his signature after lengthy negotiations.

The Belgium international is expected to fly to Istanbul on Tuesday night to undergo his medical and finalize the transfer before being officially unveiled by Besiktas.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 and made a significant contribution during his time at the Emirates, helping the Gunners compete for major domestic and European honours. His move to Besiktas marks a new chapter in his career as the Turkish side continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
