Former Citizen TV presenter Jacque Maribe has been appointed head of communications at the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management.

This marks a significant turn of events following her prolonged legal battle over her alleged involvement in the murder of Monica Kimani alongside her fiancé Joseph Irungu.

Maribe, who expressed gratitude to God for what she perceives as truth prevailing and setting her free, views her new role as a potential manifestation of divine intervention in her life. This appointment comes shortly after her acquittal from murder charges, attributed to insufficient evidence while Irungu awaits sentencing following two postponements.
