KALOLENI FOOTBALL TORNAMENT : PARANGA FC 2-2 MLILO FC
Paranga FC has drawn 2-2 with Mlilo FC in a grand opening of Wumingu/Kishushe (WUKI) Sports Tournament played today at Mlilo grounds.
Speaking during the match County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Youth, Sports, Gender, Culture and Social Services Shedrack Mutungi has noted that these tournaments are geared towards nurturing and developing talents.
“We are taking advantage of this long holiday to engage young people in line with Governor Andrew Mwadime-Wakujaa’s agenda to bolster sports sector” Said CECM Mutungi
WUKI MCA Hon. Wakili Newton Kifuso said 14 football teams and 7 netball teams are expected to battle it out in the tournament.
The tournament is fully sponsored by the County Government of Taita Taveta.
