President Ruto awards Sebastian Sawe with Ksh 8 Million
President William Ruto has awarded Ksh8 million to Kenyan marathoner Sabastian Sawe, who broke the world record at the London Marathon to become the first man to run in under two hours.
Sawe was also handed a customised Kenyan number plate with the numbers 1:59:30 in honour of his historical marathon record.
With these plates, Sawe has been directed to pick a vehicle of his choice, which will be fully funded by the state.
