Sadio Mane Celebrating after Scoring a wining penalty

There has been a hugely dramatic start to the Africa Cup of Nations final with Sadio Mane missing a penalty in the 7th minute and you can watch it here.

It appeared that Mohamed Salah was giving Egypt keeper Gabaski about advice where his teammate may hit the penalty when Mane also got involved in the conversation.

Whether this was the case or not remains to be seen but Gabaski pulled off a fine save from Mane’s penalty and here it is.

The game remained goalless after 120 minutes of play before Sadio Mane scored the winning spot kick, with Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah not taking a penalty.

Egyptian stars Mohamed Abdel Monem and Mohanad Lasheen missed from 12 yards, while Senegal’s Bouna Sarr also failed to convert his effort.

The result means Senegal are AFCON champions for the first time in their history. Egypt, meanwhile, remain on seven AFCON titles – a competition record.
