Kapseret Member of Parliament Hon. Oscar Sudi is alleged to have forged his diploma certificate to seek clearance to contest for elections in 2013, a magistrate court told

On Tuesday, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Principal Examinations Secretary Nabiki ene Kashu told Magistrate Felix Kombo that Sudi did not register or sit for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi in 2006.

She testified that the certificate presented to Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) for verification was obtained from a forged document.

“We also established that a candidate by the name Oscar Sudi did not appear in the year 2006 KNEC data base for either Highway or parklands secondary school,” she testified.

The court was also told that here was no school called Highway High School during the 2006 KCSE examination as indicated in Sudi’s certificate.

The MP is facing trial over alleged forging academic certificates while seeking clearance from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to contest in the 2013 General Election.
