97 Students from TaitaTaveta Benefit From Wings To Fly sponsorship

Wings to Fly and Elimu sponsors 97 students from TaitaTaveta.  The scholars received award letters during a ceremony held at the Kenyatta High School grounds on Tuesday. The event took place Kenyatta High School where 97 students were awarded scholarship. Taveta constituency was awarded 63 out of the 97 scholarships. Various leaders were in attendance and the Chief Guest was Polycarp Igathe, COO Equity Holdings. Congratulations to our scholars. May they shine all the way as they climb the academic ladder

Equity Group, which has been at the forefront of championing secondary school education scholarships for eleven years now, has so far offered comprehensive scholarships to a cumulative number of 37,009 students.

10,705 academically promising students from humble backgrounds who sat the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) Examinations have officially been commissioned to join wings to fly and Elimu Scholarship programs.

During the tenure of their secondary school education, the students will also benefit from mentorship and leadership development.

The 2021 scholarships were awarded by the Local Community Scholarship Selection Board for the Wings to Fly and the Community Scholarship Advisory Board for Elimu scholarships.

The 97Scholars selection in TaitaTaveta was done through a rigorous exercise which involves one on one panel interviews with the students and their parents followed by home verification visits.
