President Ruto Receive A Standing Ovation Addresses The European Parliament

President William Ruto on Tuesday called on the European Union to offer support to the Kenya police-led mission in Haiti following its approval by the Kenyan Parliament.

President Williams Ruto received a standing ovation after addressing the EU Parliament on EU-Kenya and EU-Africa cooperation, focusing on green transition and industrialization. He will emphasize on the ‘climate emergency’ as the world approaches COP28 and discuss challenges in financial reform and debt distress.

The Head of State also rallied companies and investors in Europe to invest in the renewal energy sector in Kenya and the continent highlighting the sector’s potential to address economic challenges facing countries and to mitigate the effects of climate change.
