Kilifi county governor Gideon Mung’aro lead delegation of his administration from Kilifi county to attend the MEDICA 2022 – Trade Fair, Düsseldorf, Germany that schedule to happen from 14th – 17th November 2022
MEDICA is the World’s largest medical trade fair.
The delegation accompanied the governor include; Dr. David Mulewa (Ag. Chief officer for health), Dr. Cecilia Wamalwa (county pharmacist), Jefwa Kithunga (county biomedical engineer) and Dr. Eddy Elijah Nzomo (medical superintendent).
This fair showcases the best of the world’s medical technologies most of which can significantly improve Kilifi medical services if adopted.
The governor is keen to improve current facilities in Kilifi as well as develop county’s referral and teaching hospital.
“With exhibitors from over 50 nations, we are privileged to learn about advanced resources in the areas of; electro medicine & medical technology, physiotherapy & orthopedic technology, information & communication technology, commodities & consumer goods, laboratory equipment & diagnostic products as well disposables.
With this new exposure, my team and I will be coming back challenged to take our county’s health services to a world standard.” Said the governor
