Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga now says they will not accept the two governor elections to be overseen by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Speaking during a rally in Mombasa on Wednesday, August 24, Raila said IEBC vice chairperson Juliana Cherera, should take over from her boss and oversee the gubernatorial elections in Kakamega and Mombasa counties.

The former Prime Minister stated that the accusations levelled against the Chebukati were valid grounds to remove him from office. Raila blamed the suspension of the polls on Chebukati, claiming that he colluded with their opponents to have the polls postponed.

Governor elections in Mombasa and Kakamega have been scheduled for Monday next week after being postponed twice.

He claims Chebukati presided over an illegal activity by declaring the Deputy President winner of the contest based on falsified election results.
