Omwanza Ombati & Faith Odhiambo Elected LSK President

Omwanza Ombati won the LSK Male Representative to JSC position with 3,357 votes, defeating outgoing LSK President Eric Theuri.

Theuri lost the seat in a tight competition with Nairobi-based lawyer Omwanza Ombati, who won the bid by 65 votes.

The elections held on Thursday, February 29, saw Ombati and Theuri garnering 3,357 and 3,292 votes respectively.

Also contesting for the male representative seat were Ishmael Nyaribo and Professor Mwabile, who received 95 and 629 votes respectively.

 Faith Odhiambo wins LSK top seat to become 51st President and secon d woman to head the lawyers’ umbrella body after Raychelle Omamo.

Odhiambo, who has served as the LSK Vice President since 2022, also serves as a partner at Ombok & Owuor Advocates LLP.
