Opinion poll released by TIFA showed that the Dp William Ruto enjoys national support of about 38% while his close political rival Raila Odinga has about 23%.

Ruto while addressing residents in Murang’a, said he was assured of winning the forthcoming 2022 presidential election in the first round with at least 54% of the votes.

“We are not fools, we know our game. Of the 290 elected members of parliament, we have 157. Numbers cannot lie and we are sure of forming the next government,” said Ruto.

UDA, ODM leads as popular political outfits . The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) edges over the other political outfits in the country, the TIFA poll indicated. The party enjoys support from 30% of Kenyans, followed by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), which is supported by 16% of Kenyans. Ruto has made it clear that UDA will be his official vehicle to the statehouse next year. The party’s rising popularity is owed to the defections, especially by members of the ruling party. The Uhuru-led Jubilee party falls in third place, with 3% of Kenyans supporting it.
