Suspected Organised Crime Figure Arrested in Nairobi While Wearing U.S. Military Uniform
Peter Serenyi Ahonya, a suspected organised crime figure believed to be linked to criminal activities in Nairobi and surrounding areas, was arrested yesterday by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
According to investigators, Ahonya was dressed in a U.S. military uniform at the time of his arrest, raising questions among members of the public.
Following the arrest, detectives escorted the suspect to his Mercedes-Benz, registration number KBN 160U, where a search was conducted. During the operation, officers recovered two rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition and eight sachets of cannabis sativa from the vehicle.
The arrest has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans online, with some questioning whether the suspect had any links to security agencies due to his military-style attire.
