Edwin Sifuna has been removed from the Senate Energy Committee following changes announced by Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.

According to the new committee reorganization, Sifuna has been replaced by Moses Kajwang.

The changes mean that Sifuna will no longer serve in the committee chaired by Oburu Odinga, who also serves as the ODM Party Leader.

The reshuffle has sparked political discussions within the Senate and among ODM supporters, with some observers linking the move to ongoing internal political dynamics within the opposition party.

Sifuna has in recent months remained outspoken on national political matters and party affairs, often attracting both praise and criticism from different political camps.
