Kipsigis Delegation Visits Gachagua’s Wamunyoro Home for Political Consultations
A convoy of 14-seater matatus carrying members of the Kipsigis community arrived at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Wamunyoro residence on Wednesday as part of ongoing political consultations with the leader of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).
The fully occupied convoy was seen making its way into Gachagua’s home, where he has been hosting a series of 45-day political engagements with leaders, supporters and community representatives from different parts of the country.

The meeting is expected to focus on political cooperation, national issues and possible alliances as Gachagua continues efforts to strengthen his support base ahead of Kenya’s 2027 General Election.
Since launching the consultations at his Wamunyoro residence, the former deputy president has welcomed various delegations seeking discussions on the country’s political direction and the future of opposition politics.
The visit by the Kipsigis delegation is seen as part of Gachagua’s broader strategy to expand his political networks and build new partnerships as the race toward the 2027 elections gradually gathers momentum.
