Arsenal celebrated their long-awaited Premier League triumph in style with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, marking their first match since officially being crowned champions.

Mikel Arteta’s men secured the league title on Tuesday after second-placed Manchester City dropped points in a draw against Bournemouth, ending Arsenal’s 22-year wait for English football glory.

The Gunners continued their impressive form as Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring late in the first half before Noni Madueke added the second goal after the break to seal the win.

Arsenal wrapped up the season with 26 victories in 38 matches, finishing seven points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. Since their defeat to City on April 19, Arteta’s side responded brilliantly by winning five consecutive league matches to power their title charge.

Following the final whistle, jubilant scenes unfolded as Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard lifted the Premier League trophy after medals were presented to Arteta and his squad.

Beyond the glory, winning the title also brings huge financial rewards. Arsenal are set to earn approximately £198.7 million in Premier League prize money this season — £6.2 million more than runners-up Manchester City.

Despite finishing bottom of the table, Wolves will still receive around £117.7 million, excluding any additional parachute payments following relegation.
