Orange Democratic Movement – ODM Chairman John Mbadi is not thrilled by Azimio One Kenya Aliance’s choice to snub him for the Majority Leader position in the National Assembly.

On Saturday, September 17, the alliance unveiled Ugunja legislator Opiyo Wandayi as its candidate of choice for the position.

In a statement, Mbadi, a nominated Member of Parliament, termed the decision as unfair arguing that he had earlier agreed to drop his gubernatorial bid, for Homa Bay County, at the behest of the alliance’s leaders. He also believed that he was denied the chance because he was nominated to the National Assembly.
