TTC County Launch 18M Countywide ECDE Feeding Programme

TaitaTaveta deputy governor, Christine Saru Kilalo, has today launched this year’s county ECDE feeding programme to benefit over 12,000 learners spread across 321 learning institutions in TaitaTaveta County.

The learners are now assured of nutritional support courtesy of this programme aimed at enhancing school enrollment and attendance.

The county aims at having all children access quality pre-primary education (PP1 and PP2) in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) system. All 639 teachers are now on Permanent and Pensionable (PnP) terms.

The governor has commite to implement Scheme of Service for ECDE teachers to renumerate them in accordance to their academic qualifications and experience.
