This Man Aliou Cisse : Senegal Coach

20 years ago as captain of Senegal, Aliou Cisse and the Teranga Lions lost to Cameroon in the AFCON 2002 final and now in Cameroon, he leads Senegal to their first ever AFCON trophy as coach.

He finally lays his hands on a trophy for Senegal after 7 years in charge. He joins a tall list of other local coaches to have won.

Aliou Cisse led senagal in 2002 as captain and 2019 an 2021 as headcoach. As a Player he once missed a penalty in an AFCON final against Cameroon.

Aliou Cisse has been in charge of the Teranga Lions since 2015. Seven years of solid work and finally it has paid off in AFCON2021. He becomes the first manager to lead Senegal to African Cup Of Nations glory.

He has lead the Lions of Terenga in following capacity.
