Mama Ngina Urge Mt.Kenya To Follow Uhuru’s Direction; Says Ruto Refused To Work With Him
Former Kenya’s First Lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta has appealed to the Mt Kenya region to support his son decision to back the ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency.
She said her son Uhuru means well for the region and wants the best for them hence his decision to pick his desired successor.
Mama Ngina was speaking at a burial of her cousin in Gatundu South, Kiambu county, on Tuesday 22nd march, 2022, where she said the deputy president is the one who refused to work with the president.
“He (President Uhuru Kenyatta) had no ill will, but if your junior shows you disrespect, you don’t bother, you just continue moving forward. The direction which he is showing you, follow it,”
“Depending on how one is raised up, that is the exact same behaviour they will carry with them. If you were not taught to go insulting people, then you will not do it. I want to tell those who are engaging in insults that we will leave them like that, if at all they were taught insults while growing up, that is up to them,” she noted.
