Aldrine Kibet has just made HISTORY! The 18-year-old wonderkid from St. Anthony’s Boys High School has sealed a massive €6 million move to Celta Vigo!

From captaining his school team to national glory with 25 goals & 27 assists, to now playing in Spain’s top flight – what a journey!

Kibet’s trajectory from a small village to Celta Vigo not only exemplifies resilience, but also hard work and determination. 

Posting on his signing, Celta Vigo wrote on their instagram account how excited they are to have him as a new player until 2029.

On his part, Kibet shared the exciting news to his fans on Instagram expressing the delight of joining the Spanish club.

His father, Christopher Komen, had earlier confirmed they were in Spain to finalise the deal. “Good evening, we are in Celta Vigo. We will sign tomorrow, if all goes well,” he told Nation Sport on Monday night.
