IEBC begins 30-day enhanced voter registration drive nationwide
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has launched a 30-day Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise across the country to give eligible citizens an opportunity to register as voters or update their registration details.
The exercise began on March 30, 2026, and will continue until April 28, 2026, targeting new voters and those wishing to transfer or correct their voting information.

According to the commission, the exercise is part of ongoing efforts to increase the number of registered voters and make registration services more accessible to citizens across different regions.
IEBC has especially encouraged young people who have attained the age of 18, as well as eligible citizens who have not yet registered as voters, to take advantage of the opportunity within the registration period.
During the exercise, registration services will be offered at several locations across the country to ensure many citizens are reached.
