Chelsea hosted Norwich City in the Premier League early kickoff on Saturday, with hopes of extending their league at the top of the table. With Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Pulisic and N’Golo Kante unavailable, the Blues deployed a rotated starting XI, sticking with the 3-4-3 shape.

The blues dominated the game from start to end of the game and the 7-0 score did not surprise the Blues.

“We had a good performance, we were sharp and put in a lot of effort. The result was that we had high presing, many ball wins, created lots of chances and we were very precise today.

To score seven you maybe need a bit of luck but it was a good effort.

That will not stop, this was just one game. We are up for a challenge again on Tuesday and they will have to prove it again. All the credit but it is only one game.

It’s good [Mount’s hat-trick]. No matter how many good opportunities you have and how good your coach says you are, you need your offensive players to score goals. He has waited too long.

Today he looked fresh again. We need to be careful with players like him, Jorgi and Romelu who have important roles with their national teams” Tuchel in an interview with BT Sport

Man City will travel to Brighton, and Liverpool will face Man Utd on Sunday.
