Rt. Rev. Willybard Kitogho Lagho of Malindi Diocese Elected the Chairman of the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya.

The Inter-Religious Council of Kenya has a New Chairman; Rt. Rev. Willybard Kitogho Lagho of Malindi Diocese is the Chairman of the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya.

In an AGM held today Bishop Lagho who is the Chairman of the CIRDE – Commission for Interreligious Dialogue & Ecumenism, Kenya at the KCCB was elected as the Chairman; Rt. Rev. Jeremiah Ngumo National Council of Churches of Kenya – NCCK was elected as the Moderator and Sujata Kotamraju Hindu Council of Kenya as the treasurer.

Willybard Kitogho Lagho was ordained as the third Bishop of the Diocese of Malindi on March 19, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Cathedral at Malindi.
