Raila Odinga lands in Taita Taveta to launch several water projects
ODM leader Raila Odinga landed in Mwatate, Taita Taveta today. He was received by Governor Granton Samboja. Odinga is expected to perform the official launch of several water projects undertaken by both the local and national governments.
ODM leader is expected to commission KES 88 million worth Nyangoro-Maktau Water Project. This initiative is a joint partnership by the European Union (EU), Water Sector Trust Fund (WSTF) – a National Government body and the County Government of Taita Taveta targeting 17,000 residents. He is also expected to address public rallies.
