Principal Secretaries Tasked With Govt Operations After CSs Dismissal
President William Ruto on Thursday announced that the government would continue with its normal operations despite the dismissal of his entire Cabinet except Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi.
Ruto, who addressed the nation at State House, revealed that Principal Secretaries and other government officials would undertake operations in ministries.
“During this process, the operations of government will continue uninterrupted under the guidance of Principal Secretaries and other relevant officials.
“I will be announcing additional measures and steps in due course,” he stated.
Some of the PSs who will be running notable government operations include Raymond Omollo (State Department for Interior and National Administration), Chris Kiptoo (National Treasury), Patrick Mariru (Defence) and Belio Kipsang (State Department for Basic Education).
