Just 10 days after meeting former President Uhuru Kenyatta, President William Ruto has nominated Kenyatta’s political allies to key positions in his Cabinet:

In a despatch on Thursday, December 19, by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, President Ruto nominated Kagwe as the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Kabogo as the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, and Digital Economy.

The Head of State also nominated former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui as the Cabinet Secretary for Trade.

At the same time, he reassigned Salim Mvurya, Cabinet Secretary for Trade, to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
